Primary Care
Conemaugh Physician Group offers primary care services dedicated to preventing, diagnosing and treating illnesses that affect patients of all ages.
A primary care provider serves as the first point of contact for patients, offering continuity of care and referrals to specialists when necessary. The goal of primary care is to keep individuals healthy and address their medical concerns in a holistic manner.
Primary care services typically include preventive care, such as vaccinations and screenings, as well as management of chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension.
Throughout our practices we have family medicine practitioners who provide care for everyone in the family, from newborns to older adults. Our internal medicine practitioners, or internists, focus on taking care of adult patients 18 and older. We also offer pediatric services, providing care for children from birth through adolescence.
